An eye on IAG
PPL have been delivering dedicated online information, advice & guidance solutions (known as 'IAG sites') for over 10 years. We are the market leader in this field, with sites covering adults, families and childrens services.
We currently deliver 40 different IAG sites across the UK, each of which are being continuously maintained and refreshed. We have picked three sites that we have worked on recently to showcase our latest work.
Wakefield Adults
We have worked with Wakefield Council to support the information, advice & guidance offer for adults since 2011. We recently worked with them to redesign the site. One of the new features is interactive 'pathways' that allow users to navigate through common journeys.
Bradford Families & Young People
This is a completely new site, featuring information and advice pages for all aspects of family life, a service directory and a guide to local activities and events. Our design team worked closely with lots of interested parties to produce an engaging and intuitive user experience:
In a first for one of our IAG sites, it features a 'practitioner forum' that enables news, service updates, changes in practice, collaborative working and more can be shared amongst the Prevention and Early Help practitioners’ community. Anyone can view and post content, but new posts are moderated first by the council.
Wakefield Local Offer
We have operated this site with Wakefield Council and its partners for a number of years. The site has recently been reviewed and refreshed, using a co-production approach. The 'before' and 'after' are:

Through work we have done with another council, we are now able to integrate directly with OFSTED to consume their data feed and display detailed, up-to-date information on our solutions.
So What?
These are three totally different sites, but they are all delivered via the same technology platform. That approach, together with our interactive community of clients that share best practice through our IAG user groups means that councils can achieve excellent outcomes and value-for-money at the same time.
