Hammersmith & Fulham: Living Independently
Earlier this year we worked with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham to design and develop their very own Adult Social Care site: Living Independently. We have previously worked alongside LBHF as part of a tri-borough project, but this was their first move to an independent social care site.
The requirements for the LBHF: Living Independently site was something clean and simple that reflected who they are as an Adult Social Care team, but also as a Borough. For this reason, we gave them a classic design, taking inspiration and a colour palette, from their logo, brand guidelines and the main London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham website.
For this project, it was especially important that all information would be easily accessible for the site user whilst remaining flexible for the LBHF project team. As such we developed a simple site structure using our IAG and Directory solutions, and embedded modifications into the core design of the website, including a dual homepage that gives LBHF the opportunity to switch between homepage designs without losing content.
By using this simple design, we were able to take this project from start to finish – through design, development, and deployment – in just 10 weeks.
