Hull CCG chooses Virtual Wallet to support Personalised Care

PPL are excited to be working with NHS Hull CCG on a number of Personalised Care projects, all focused around the use of Virtual Wallet to support the CCG and their local partner organisations in offering greater choice and control to individuals across Hull.

Our first workstream is live; enabling individuals with previously unmet health needs to directly arrange and pay for support with their chosen service providers. Not only does this allow these individuals to arrange and receive support within hours of their Virtual Wallet account being created, but it significantly reduces the administrative burden for both the individual and the CCG.

Over the coming weeks, Virtual Wallet will be introduced to both adults and children in receipt of Continuing Healthcare funding and work is underway to support with the digitization of the Young Carers Grants scheme, promoting the fantastic work of the multi-organisational team and enabling more young people to benefit from the full range of support that is available to them.
