ISF Wallet launches
Individual Service Funds (ISFs) are a personal budget that is managed by a provider organisation
on behalf of the individual. ISFs are good for individuals as they provide nearly the same level of
choice & control as a Direct Payment but without as much responsibility.
ISF Wallet is a solution for ISF provider organisations to manage all the financial elements of an ISF on behalf of an individual. It is the result of a collaboration between Self Directed Futures and PPL. It brings together Self Directed Futures’ passion & expertise in relation to ISFs and the Virtual Wallet solution developed by PPL for the management of personal budgets. Put simply, it solves the hassle of managing the money for ISF provider organisations:
ISF Wallet is aimed at:
- Provider organisations who want to start managing ISFs.
- Provider organisations that are operating ISFs (perhaps using prepaid cards or spreadsheets) but who are finding it challenging to manage or scale.
- Local authorities who are looking for ways to implement ISFs or make more use of micro-enterprises.
Provider organisations use ISF Wallet on a day-to-day basis, replacing the need for pre-paid cards, spreadsheets and paperwork. Individuals & their families, providers and funding authorities have their own access 24/7 from any web-enabled device.
We've now launched ISF Wallet in Dorset, working with Darwin Cares, who support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism as well as working with individuals who are suffering with mild mental health issues.
