Payroll Plus

Employing a Personal Assistant (PA) when you have a direct payment can seem overwhelming.  Finding the right PA is the hard part (although the team at PPL can help you with that). 

Once you have your PA, getting everything set up right is the next challenge.  There is a lot to arrange, such as setting up the payroll, arranging insurance and making sure that you are being a good employer.  Traditionally, an employer would need to arrange each of those things separately.   

Our new Payroll Plus offering solves that problem.  Three of the leading organisations in the direct payments sector have partnered to provide everything that an employer and their PAs need in one simple bundle with a low monthly cost.  

It is a simple idea, but is a first within the direct payments sector.  The benefits are:

  • For employers: Reassurance that everything is covered, with less hassle to arrange it. 
  • For PAs:  Access to support, training and benefits akin to working for a large organisation. 
  • For funding authorities:  Assurance that all requirements are met whilst ensuring value-for-money. 

Payroll Plus is initially being made available to those people who use Virtual Wallet to manage their direct payment.  In due course, we may look to offer it to those that manage direct payments in other ways.
