Directories
Directories
Our Directories enable people to discover up-to-date information on care and support provision in the local area.
Many of the directories that we provide focus on free, or low-cost community groups and local activities, although they can also include regulated organisations such as care homes, home care and childcare, and private commercial organisations.
We work in partnership with our clients to design solutions that align with their asset-based community development initiatives, social prescribing approaches or the simple aim of gently 'nudging' people towards self-service.
Key features include:
- Bespoke design - we can create an independent brand for you, or match an existing web design
- Intuitive search, including mapping, facets and filters
- Star ratings and reviews
- Integration with 3rd parties, to give real-time ratings, e.g. CQC or Ofsted ratings
- Editing interface for non-technical users, including providers themselves
Key benefits
How can you use our Directories?
We provide our directories to dozens of adult social care teams to allow them to provide up-to-date information on community and regulated organisations, including care homes, home care and support organisations, as well as community services.
The directories are available online, so they always reflect the latest updates, adhere to accessibility and standards and provide real choice and control to self-funders and council-funded individuals.
Our ASC directories can be delivered to be stand-alone, or can be implemented alongside SEND Local Offer or Family Information Service directories to provide a unified, all-ages platform.
Our directories can be used to provide directories for families, children and young people, allowing them to access information about childcare and services for families and children within the local area.
By carefully categorising the data, individuals can search for the services that meet their specific needs, including Ofsted or schools data.
Our Family Information Service directories can be delivered to be stand-alone, or can be implemented alongside SEND Local Offer or Adult Social Care directories to provide a unified, all-ages platform.
Our directories are used by children's services to provide a SEND Local Offer solution.
Utilising our platform, and range of modular solutions, local authorities are able to meet their Local Offer duties whilst making the most of a fully scalable solution that integrates with other Local Authority directories.
Our SEND Local Offer directories can be delivered to be stand-alone, or can be implemented alongside Family Information Services or Adult Social Care directories to provide a unified, all-ages platform.
Directories can be used to support link workers and social prescribing professionals to connect users with community groups and statutory services, to support a more holistic approach to addressing health needs.
Social Prescribing directories can be delivered to be stand-alone, or can be implemented alongside other directories to provide a unified approach to health and social care information.
"Having worked with our partners and stakeholders to develop and refine our Local Offer, we then needed a partner that could not only deliver the technological solution but also understood our needs and aims. The PPL team have been responsive and dynamic, working to a very tight timescale and offering much more to us than 'just' a website."
